Respected Sir,

               A kind reference is invited towards this association letter no. CHq/8/2023-2025 dated 10.07.2023 regarding change of nomenclature of various Group B officers and providing Stenographer. This association had already submitted detailed justification highlighting that 225 posts of ASP/ASRM were upgraded to PS Group B cadre in March 2023 and many of these posts are presently functioning as Dy. SP, Dy SRM and in charge of PH/NSH/BNPL/BPC/CRC/CPC etc. However, the issue of appropriate nomenclature and basic facilities like stenographer and chamber is still pending, which is causing administrative and functional difficulties in the field units.

               Despite the passage of considerable time, no final order has been issued by the Directorate. The matter is of significant importance for smooth functioning of Divisions and units as well as for clarity in administrative hierarchy.

               The Association therefore strongly request to kindly change the nomenclature  of the present posts as proposed below and suitable instruction may be issued for providing stenographer as well as basic infrastructure to all officers :
