Periodical meeting of the Association on 12.03.2026

 

Dear all,

On 12.03.2026 visited Directorate with Chq President Sri Devendra Sharma for attending periodical meeting which was chaired by Hon'ble Secretary Posts Smt. Bandita Kaul Madam in presence of Respected Director General Posts S/Sri Jitendra Gupta Sir,  P.K.Swain, Member (P), Raj Kumar Sir, DDG(Esst. & P), Smt. Mirnali Shrivastava DDG (IR) and other senior officers.

Agend items were discussed in detail 

1.Convening JTS DPC 2026 by including STS vacant posts. 

Reply : DPC for JTS is under process and expected very soon.

        Power for  any downgradation in STS will lie with DE/DOPT. 

2. Counting of Ad hoc period for JTS promoted officers. 

 Reply : There is no such provision,  Matter was placed strongly giving example of recent orders if OS Group B , HAG and others. However Dte. will explore the possibility. .

3. Modifications  in Inspection Questionnaire for DH and reduction of number of days. 

Reply :Discussed in detail and assurance given that revision of Inspection Questioner on the basis of APT 2.0 is under process our views will also be incorporated. POA (I) has also shared interim suggestions. 

Further, on 13.03.2026 Myself with  Shri Devendra Sharma, President  met with Member(P) and other senior officers and  discussed the following points :

1. JTS DPC and Adhoc JTS promotion.

2. Re patriation of officers posted out side the home Circle.

3. PS Group B DPC for year 2025-2026.

4. Revisiting nomenclature and role as well as stenographer to Deputy SPOS/SRM/IN Charge CPC/NSH/BPC and others

5. Publication of seniority list of JTS/PS Group B considering fixation of seniority on vacancy year of the Exam/DPC.

6. Request for reconsideration of Directorate O.M. No. 17-31/2016-GDS (Pt) dated 26.11.2025 regarding revision of Schedule of Engaging Authority under Rule 31 of GDS (Conduct and Engagement) Rules, 2020.

7. Clarification on change of date of next increment (DNI) in terms of Rule-10 of CCS (RP) Rules, 2016

And other issues were also discussed in detail in positive invorment and hoping some early resolution.
